What started out as an interest in gardening became a passion for beekeeping when Judy was introduced to beekeeping by a speaker at a local gardening club. As Judy recalls many years later, "I didn't expect it to be as fascinating as it was."

Soon she joined a beekeeping club and learned the fundamentals. "You have to have a sense of humor to work with stinging insects," she says with a smile. After a few years of trial and error, she began producing products in the year 2000 from the wax and the honey her hives had generated. She began with a lotion and lip balm — always experimenting with texture, consistency and scents to get the most pleasing combinations.

When her beekeeping club hosted a booth to increase awareness about the importance of bees to the local environment, Judy introduced some of her honeys to the market.The honeys were well received, and encouraged her to expand her product line. Currently, Judy offers the products featured on this web site and is constantly developing new ones. Her passion is creating new products and working with her bees.

Many months are spent tending to the bees to keep them healthy and productive. Many hours are spent refining the wax and honey, and carefully producing each product.
